Not only is river fishing notoriously difficult but Samir happened to start this adventure in the midst of a record-shattering heatwave, far from ideal carp conditions.
The fishing is tricky to start with, Samir spends a lot of time searching out carp and despite finding them, he just could not get that all important bite, not being a man to rest on his laurels Samir continued up stream in the search of some of the rivers fabled old linears 🐋🎣
