Crowy is one of the world's most travelled carp anglers, having caught carp from more than 300 different waters, including 50-pounders from six different countries including England, France, Romania, Austria, South Africa and Hungary.
The author of three books and the co-winner of the first ever global carp match, The World Carp Cup of 1996 Simon currently works as the editor of Carp-Talk, as well as a consultant for Nash Tackle. He spends most of his time in the UK fishing in the north of the country, specifically Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, where he has a long-list of target fish under his belt, topped by the legendary Biggun’ from Nostell Priory Top Lake at 43 lb 6 oz, which he rates as his favourite capture of his career.
Crowy classes himself as an all round carper with a particular passion for stalking and surface fishing, and at the 2014 Carpin’ On Show in Essex he was inducted into the prestigious Carp Fishing Hall of Fame.
